Credits & Refund Policy

A transparent description of prepaid usage, spending controls, and payment processing.

Beta draft — legal review pending. This language has not been approved for public paid launch. Operator identity and contact details must be published before commercial access.

How credits work

The current proposed rate is 100 credits per US dollar. The application presents credit amounts before purchase and estimated daily consumption based on settings. Forecasts do not guarantee future costs; changes to third-party pricing or monitored activity can affect actual charges. Billable operations must reserve credits before provider calls and reconcile completed usage.

Purchases and payment confirmation

Credit purchases are optional, one-time transactions through Stripe Checkout. Purchases are not posted to your spendable balance until Stripe confirms payment through a verified webhook. Stripe test credits cannot be spent on live API usage. Auto-recharge is disabled unless separately offered and expressly authorized.

Promotional credits

Complimentary beta credits are non-cash promotional access and may be subject to separate disclosed limits. Promotional balances are recorded separately for accounting where required. A business must determine applicable promotional-credit terms before public launch.

Refunds, disputes, and balances

Contact support if a charge is incorrect, a product operation fails, or you seek a refund. Refund eligibility for unused balances, purchase reversal, and expiration will be determined under applicable law and the final published refund terms; no blanket no-refund or expiration rule is imposed by this draft. Reversed payments may lead to credit reversal or a temporary account hold.

Failed operations and spending limits

Watchnet intends not to deduct credits for failures confirmed to be unbilled by providers. Some external services charge even for unsuccessful attempts; those costs will be disclosed before enabling the relevant operation. Reserved credits for uncertain provider outcomes stay pending until reconciled. Workspace budgets and infrastructure caps may pause operations.

Regulatory clearance required

Before live credit sales, the operator must verify that Stripe permits this specific nontransferable, seller-maintained stored-value model and obtain advice on applicable consumer, gift-card, unclaimed-property, accounting, and tax requirements.
