WATCHNET · VERSION 2026-10-29-beta-v1

Privacy Policy

How Watchnet collects and uses information in the private beta.

Beta draft — legal review pending. This language has not been approved for public paid launch. Operator identity and contact details must be published before commercial access.

Information collected

We process account identifiers, email address, optional profile information, company watchlists, website URLs, notes, monitoring and billing settings, support requests, usage history, and necessary technical and security logs. Payment card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by Watchnet.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, deliver the product, calculate credits, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, provide security, comply with legal duties, and—if enabled—deliver user-requested alerts and briefings. We do not sell user intelligence or private workspace data to advertisers.

Processors and data transfers

Our service uses third-party infrastructure such as Supabase, Vercel, and potentially Stripe, email delivery providers, and AI API providers. The particular providers and their locations must be confirmed before public launch. AI requests may include limited text from selected public websites and user-selected report context.

Retention and security

We retain records as needed to provide the service and satisfy legal, security, or accounting obligations. Retention periods and backup deletion schedules require an approved production policy. We use authentication and database access controls, but no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can export selected workspace and account records or request account deletion, access, or correction using the Privacy Center. Some records may need to be retained under applicable law. Marketing communications, if ever used, will be separate from requested operational notifications and include opt-out controls.

Privacy contact and regulatory rights

The owner must publish a working privacy contact address, legal business identity, and jurisdiction-specific rights information before inviting public users. Depending on your residence, you may have additional privacy rights. This document is not a substitute for jurisdiction-specific legal review.
